Women’s Connection Center

The purpose of the pilot Women’s Connection Center is to connect adult women in Grapevine and surrounding communities to existing resources in the community – resources to develop mind, body, and spirit.  All women are invited, regardless of circumstances or religious views, to connect personally with a trained advocate. To visit the Center or meet with an Advocate is free of charge. Information and compassion are provided, but no actual distribution of money or material goods.

During these uncertain times of the COVID 19 pandemic, the WCC in indefinitely closed for in person visits. Please contact us to schedule a phone visit.

Meanwhile, it’s important to do what you can to keep your mind, body, and spirit healthy. Check out some links that you might find useful in achieving a healthy balance while staying at home and reducing your in person contacts. (insert link to page with links)

Empowering Women in Transition Workshops

Note: Online workshops for Fall 2020 are being developed. Check back here or sign up for emails to be informed of workshops and other events.

Are you a woman looking for greater meaning in life or do you have unfulfilled aspirations? Are you divorced, widowed, an empty nester, or feel disconnected from the future you desire?  Are you uncertain of the great potential that lives within you and would like to discover it? Do you want to find the connection between human achievement and spiritual fulfillment?  If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then the “Empowering Women in Transition” Workshop (EWIT) is for you!

Throughout this six-week program, you will learn new empowerment techniques and discover more about the unlimited potential that resides within you. EWIT will empower you with the benefits of education, self-awareness and an environment of women-helping-women.

Workshops include 1 session per week for 6 weeks – each session lasts 2.5 – 3 hours. Participants can expect to spend about two hours between weekly sessions on additional activities.   Upon registration, you will receive a welcome letter with detailed information.

There is a small cost for the materials. Please contact us at womensconnectioncenter @gmail if you are in need of a scholarship.
